My Beer Philosophy: The world has an unlimited amount of amazing beer to offer, and you should definitely track down those that come highly recommended. However, you can trade all day long for some of these beers and you’ll soon learn that the best beer in the world can be purchased right down the street from you. At the end of the day, it’s just beer. Collect it. Drink it. Age it. Trade it. Share it. Take a chance on something that stands out to you. But definitely don’t over-think it.

My Beer Philosophy: I love complexity in beers, but what I look for most is cohesion. I love flavor profiles that achieve a sense of harmony, of direction. I love beers as complex as the finest Lambic and beers as simple as the self-assured English Mild Ale. I’m looking for beers that don’t cram a bunch of flavors together without direction or purpose. I’m looking for beers that pair with food. And I’m always looking for people to share a pint with.
